Our story
Matt Crane established Tapped Out in 2019, starting with a single flat deck truck with a tank on the back. Today Tapped Out runs three dedicated tanker trucks and three tanker trailers, delivering water from Waipū to Towai and everywhere in between.
Matt has been in and around the transport industry his whole life. He completed a building apprenticeship straight out of school and is also a qualified diesel mechanic and heavy engineer. That background means the trucks are well maintained, the jobs are well planned, and there is not much on a site that will catch him out.
Matt drives full time, with a small support team who help out when things get busy. He prides himself on clear communication, turning up when he says he will, and getting the water where it needs to be without any fuss. It's that same commitment to showing up for people that drives his sponsorship of Relay for Life's on-site water truck every year.
